Summary (Plain Language): ZenithTally software works entirely on your computer — your financial data, TallyPrime data, and GST data never leaves your machine. We only collect basic contact information when you register for a trial, and we use it only to deliver your software and provide support. We do not sell your data. We do not show you ads. We do not share your data with third parties except when legally required.

How We Collect Information
- Trial registration form on zenithtally.in — you fill this in voluntarily.
- WhatsApp communication — when you contact us for payment, License Key delivery, or support.
- Software activation — the app generates a System ID from your hardware (CPU model, MAC address, hostname) using a one-way cryptographic hash. This hash cannot be reversed to identify your hardware. It is shared with us only when you send it via WhatsApp for activation.
- Website server logs — standard logs maintained by our hosting provider (Hostinger). These are routine logs and are not used for behavioural tracking.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, third-party advertising trackers, or any other third-party analytics or tracking tools on our website or in our software.
03
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
- License Key generation and delivery — your System ID and payment reference are used to generate and send your unique License Key via WhatsApp.
- Customer support — your name, mobile number, and firm name help us provide personalised support via WhatsApp.
- Product updates and announcements — we may send you information about new features, version updates, or renewal reminders via WhatsApp or email. You may opt out at any time by requesting removal from our contact list.
- Fraud prevention — payment references and System IDs are used to verify legitimate license requests and detect misuse.
- Internal analytics — aggregate, non-personal data (number of trial registrations by city, profession breakdown) helps us understand our user base. This data does not identify individuals.
- Legal compliance — we may retain and disclose information as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.
We will not use your information for any purpose not listed above without obtaining your explicit consent.
04
Information We Do Not Collect
The following categories of data are explicitly NOT collected by ZenithTally:
- Your financial data — ledgers, vouchers, stock items, balance sheets, and all other financial data processed through ZenithTally stays entirely on your local computer. It is never transmitted to our servers.
- Your TallyPrime data — all TallyPrime connection, data retrieval, and voucher posting happens on your local network between ZenithTally and TallyPrime. No data from this process reaches us.
- Your GST data — GSTR files uploaded to ZenithLens are processed locally on your machine. They are never uploaded to our servers.
- Aadhaar, PAN, or bank account details — we never request or store any government identification numbers or banking credentials.
- Passwords — we do not have a password-based account system. There is no user account to log into on zenithtally.in.
- Sensitive personal data as defined under IT Rules 2011 (passwords, financial information, health data, biometric data) — we do not collect any such data.
05

- We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising tools.
